Learn How to Report Sexual Harassment and Misconduct at Compliance and Ethics Week 2019

What would you do if you witnessed inappropriate or harassing behavior?

Where do you go to report your own experience of sexual harassment?

Answers to these questions and more were discussed at University Compliance Services' annual Compliance and Ethics Week event at the Coral Gables campus on Monday, Nov. 4, 2019.

The event was attended by over 70 University of Miami faculty, staff, and students who heard from keynote speaker Marcia Narine Weldon, Lecturer in Law at the University of Miami School of Law, regarding topics such as sexual harassment and misconduct.

Compliance and Ethics Week's purpose is to raise awareness of compliance and risk related topics, recognize ethical behavior, and reinforce values and behaviors for building a better U. The University has available resources for confidentially reporting sexual misconduct, including an online form, or in-person support through one of UM's Title IX Coordinators.
